AUSSIE is committed to raising student achievement through effective teaching practice. Founded by Diane and Greg Snowball in 1992, the group has provided customized professional development services in more than 2,000 schools throughout the United States.

AUSSIE currently partners with more than 400 elementary, middle, and high schools, impacting the work of more than 20,000 teachers and the learning of more than 500,000 students.

Now, more than ever, teachers, coaches, and administrators need — and deserve — professional development that helps them implement the most effective practices in education and that provides their students with the highest quality of instruction. For over fifteen years AUSSIE (Australian United States Services in Education) has met this need.

AUSSIE was founded in 1992 by Diane Snowball, an internationally recognized author, educator, and literacy expert. Since its beginning, AUSSIE has partnered with a wide variety of school districts with a broad array of teachers, students and classroom settings addressing a wide range of student needs.

AUSSIE's merger in April 2007 with Editure has created a partnership that blends AUSSIE's hands-on, in-school consultancy experience with Editure's powerful learning platform software and leadership in providing online education services.

The acquisition of TeachFirst in March 2009 expands the Editure professional development offerings providing  proprietary programs, content, videos and tools to assist in developing collaborative frameworks for teacher professional development.  

Today, AUSSIE has over 200 consultants working in hundreds of schools across the country, successfully providing job-embedded professional development consultancy services. AUSSIE consultants help all students succeed. We not only support the struggling learner, we also drive the achiever.
