Cecilia Meehan is an experienced Australian Primary School principal, with more than 30 years experience in both schools and educational policymaking, Ms Meehan is an innovative thinker, developer and presenter of educational programs.
 
In 2003 Ms Meehan brought her experience and practice into her work in both elementary and middle schools in New York City Schools, Harrisburg PA and in Hartford CT. In these forums she has worked as an educational consultant with teachers and principals developing classroom and school wide plans and programs, assessment and reporting practices and supporting schools and teachers in their self evaluations and interpretation of data. Ms Meehan is able to work closely with both principals and teachers to build collective knowledge and practice enabling real improvement in student achievement and teacher practice.

In her previous work in Melbourne, Australia, she has been Principal in inner city schools where she was responsible for staff recruitment and appointments, assessment and development and reviews of whole school plans. As a leader of a principal network and principal accreditor she has a practical knowledge of accreditation and monitoring as well as all aspects of curriculum development, review  and management practices.
