Christopher Lowrey
Christopher Lowrey has been involved in Education for 20 years and has held the positions of Classroom teacher, Leading teacher and Principal. He has taught in Special Education settings including; Special schools and Special Developmental schools as well as Youth Detention centres, jails and homes for the socially and emotionally disturbed. Chris has taught E.S.L classes for three years and has extensive experience as a classroom teacher in Grades 2-6. He has also taught in Canadian schools in 2000. Chris has several degrees and certificates in Literacy, Physical and Special Education and has been at the forefront of Early and Middle Years Literacy development as well as Computer Literacy’s between 1998 and 2005 as a member of the Victorian Action Research Literacy team. Chris has a particular passion for the teaching of writing. He is a qualified Middle Years literacy leader in Victoria, Australia and is in his fifth year working as an AUSSIE Literacy consultant.
