Diane Jackson has been a mathematics consultant working in the United States since 2001. She spent another nine years working in staff development in Australia, and is an experienced middle school teacher. The use of computing technology is a special interest, and she researched how gender impacts on this for her Masters in Education dissertation. Diane has worked as a lead mathematics coach in Region One, worked extensively on the development of writing in mathematics, student-centered portfolios, and using data to drive instruction. Her role has also included the facilitation of regional workshops in New York City, as well as workshops in Massachusetts and Washington State.
