Esther Chavi Schmell is an educator who has served in Government and Jewish Day Schools.  Her career as a Master Teacher, Resource Room/Consultant Teacher, Early Intervention learning Therapist, Supervisor, Educational Evaluator, Program Coordinator, Acting Assistant Principal, Educational Consultant and Literacy Consultant has spanned a varied educational spectrum to include the special needs population as well as the mainstream learner.

Ms. Schmell has served as a Consultant for the Board of Jewish Education in establishing Resource Rooms for Jewish Day Schools and as a Consultant for Project SIR (Success in Reading).  She has conducted workshops on Sensory Processing and Learning, as well as Parents as Partners to Education. Ms. Schmell is a  member of the faculty of Bais Yaakov Intensive Teacher’s Seminary, where she teaches a course on Balanced Literacy.  Esther Chavi Schmell is in the fourth year of her work with A.U.S.S.I.E. as a Literacy Consultant.
