Jane Piper
Jane Piper has worked extensively in the education sector worldwide, including the Australian, British, French and Chinese public school systems. Jane has also held positions in tertiary education training in Sydney and corporate professional development in Paris. As an education practitioner Jane’s work has extended across the areas of the humanities, performing arts, social sciences, business and English as a second language. Jane’s expertise focuses on balanced and cross-curricula literacy learning, combined with the development of critical literacy in comtemporary classrooms. Further areas of expertise include; whole-school differentiated instruction design and implementation; data-driven instruction design and implementation; the effective integration of information technology; quality curriculum development; balanced assessment design and scheduling; and the promotion of collegial, collaborative and reflective teaching practice. Jane’s work seeks to promote and strengthen the fundamental links between literacy and student engagement, responsibility and achievement.
