Marci Klein
Marci Klein completed her teacher training at University of Pennsylvania in which she received the Minnick Award for exemplary performance and promise for success in a teaching career. After college, Marci worked as a classroom teacher in Montgomery, New Jersey. She conducted workshops on comprehension, book clubs, guided reading, read aloud, independent reading, conferencing, and benchmark assessments.
In 2008, Marci joined AUSSIE as an educational consultant and has worked in New York City, sharing her literacy expertise with teachers, students, and administrators to improve teacher performance and student achievement. She’s worked collaboratively with the teachers and administrators to develop a professional development plan that includes both short-term and long-term goals. She’s helped schools collect and analyze data and use the data analysis to inform instruction.
