Marilyn Scala
Marilyn Scala is a literacy and inclusion consultant with 30 years of experience in general, special education, and inclusive classrooms. She joined AUSSIE, a leading provider of customized professional development services, in 1999. She likes the challenges and teamwork that coaching provides, celebrating teachers and their students in what they already do well, discovering what they wonder and need, and developing engaging and relevant professional development plans. Her specialty is in understanding the needs of diverse populations and planning research-based differentiated instruction so that all students are successful in becoming life-long readers and writers.
