This workshop explores 21st century teaching and learning with a focus on how administrators can establish systems that allow for greater transparency with an emphasis on collaboration and technology integration.
During this workshop the following areas will be explored:
- 21st century skills and their implications on teaching and learning;
- creating a vision for a school technology plan;
- exploring the current NETS (National Educational Technology Standards) for students, teachers, and administrators as a roadmap for success;
- modeling 21st century learning communities;
- best practices for implementing blogging, podcasting and social networking projects initiatives;
- supporting professional learning communities with 21st century tools.
