- assess your school's infrastructure, and establish a school-based customized technology plan that will address the administrative and instructional needs necessary to move your school forward as a global learning community
- redesign your curriculum into authentic learning experiences (thematic, technology-infused, research-based) aligned with City and State Standards as well as NETS (National Education Technology Standards for students and teachers). This change will promote critical thinking and problem solving skills
- model best practices of pedagogy and technology
- provide experiences that will create learning communities within your school
- develop opportunities for collaboration beyond the walls of the classroom and even beyond the community
- assist teachers in the use of alternative assessment methods
- showcase the tools necessary for students to achieve ICT (information and communication technologies) literacy
- assist your school in creating technology-infused learning experiences based on the TPACK model
- provide information regarding the use/purchase of appropriate resources and materials
- showcase new resources/materials
